Spirit of Giving

We believe it is important for young children to learn to give as well as to receive. Community service is an area of focus at Haytown, and we couldn’t be more proud of our generous little citizens and their incredible families.

Community service efforts have included:

  • Stuffed animals and blankets were donated to animals housed at the ASPCA Rehabilitation Center
  • Coats and winter gear were collected for the United Way holiday coat drive
  • We supported Fighting Pretty, an organization that helps women fighting cancer
  • Carloads of food were delivered to the Long Valley Food Pantry after the holidays when the food bank needed to be restocked
  • Families donated old sneakers to the Mane Stream ‘Shoes for Shoes’ program. Mane Stream is a therapeutic riding facility in Tewksbury
  • Our families worked together to make blankets for Project Linus, an organization that provides critically ill children with handmade blankets
  • We created holiday cards for service men and women on a Naval ship out of Pearl Harbor, stationed in the South China Sea
